Last week, I took a sales class for female business owners. The     36    thing the instructor did was ask if anyone had been the victim of a     37    sales experience. Every person in the room    38    her hand.
When she knew details, we learned that the     39    situations had one thing in common. It     40    that whenever a class member had a bad sales experience, it involved the     41    promising something he wouldn’t or couldn’t deliver.
The example I     42   with the class was a current one. I bought a summer membership at our community pool     43    because it advertised a lovely baby pool to which I could escape with my active one and four year-olds. When the baby pool was closed, I had to swim with my     48   in the adult pool, which did not     49    me the control I wanted and as such, was quite stressful. I would have rather stayed home.
The pool has     50  a customer. I will not be buying a pass next summer.

You are not God, so don’t lead people to believe that you     55   the universe.

A Love Note To My Mom
When I was a little girl, I would often accompany you as you modeled for fashion photographers. It was years later that I finally understood what role modelling  36 in your life. Little did I know you were  37  every penny you earned to go to  38   school.
I cannot thank you enough for  39  you told me one autumn afternoon when I was nine. After finishing my homework, I went into the dining room where you were buried  40   piles of law books. I was  41   .Why were you doing what I do—memorizing textbooks and studying for  42   ? When you said you were in law school, I was more puzzled. I didn’t know. Moms could be lawyers too. Encouraged by your  48  , I have forged ahead (毅然前行) with my life’s journey, less afraid to make mistakes, and  49  meeting each challenge. You did it, and now I’m  50  it. So, get to run. So much to do, so many dreams to live.

A friend of mine met with an accident driving in the darkness. His legs were so hurt that he couldn’t   36 .What was worse was that he found himself unable to ask for help—his mobile phone didn’t  37   . Nothing could be done but  38   in cold wilderness. It was 8 hours later that day broke, and then the   39    of the rescue.
It is almost   40    that he could stand the horror in the darkness for so long. Even more surprising was his  41   , “First of all I checked up on my physical  42   and found myself not in fatal(致命的) danger. Finding no   43    to call for help, I leaned back to try my best to keep the wound from  44   . In this way I fell asleep.
This  45   me of another story: A group of young men   46    to explore a mountain cave and got lost.  47  to find a way out in the dark cave they were  48    and ran anxiously without a sense of   49   . Finally they fell dead in fear and exhaustion. According to the  50     people that found them, the place where they got lost was only about 10 meters away from the   51    of the cave. If they stayed where they got lost and tried to   52   themselves, they would probably   53   a small light glimmering(闪烁) not far away.
We can compare it with our   54    itself. Sometimes when we meet with difficulties in life, we feel lost in the darkness. If it is unclear, you needn’t put up a struggle    55   . Remember: CALM DOWN!

After 21 years of marriage, my wife wanted me to take another woman out to dinner.   36   woman was my mother, who has been a widow for 19 years, but my work had made   37   impossible to visit her very often.
