There are elderly people living in the neighborhood who may not be able to do the things that you can. Offer to do their shopping once a week, look after their gardens or walk their dogs!
No littering
Nobody likes picking up rubbish, but a clean street can make all the difference. Take it in turns to go out once or twice a week and see what you can find. You never know, one day you might find something valuable!
Recycling
Nearly two-thirds of your rubbish can be recycled. Some areas already provide places for people to recycle bottles, tins, plastic and paper. Find out if this is done in your neighborhood. If it is not, do something about it.

The city of Yangzhou came into being at the Spring and Autumn Period ( about 500 AC ).

Zhu Ziqing, one of most famous modern Chinese writers and scholars, had always been proud of himself as a native of Yangzhou and thanked the city for being nourished (养育) by its rich culture. Quite a few other names you may come across frequently (频繁地) in the study of Chinese culture and history have connection with Yangzhou. Yangzhou was so attractive and important that many Chinese emperors in history had come specially to visit or check the city. Several days ago, while I got online, my cousin’s QQ head popped out(弹出). We hadn’t seen each other for a few months, so I decided to start a talk with her.
