Do you love libraries? If you love books as much as I do, then I’m certain you must.
My library card has a(n) place in my wallet, and some of my favorite of childhood come from the public library in my hometown. It is a(n) house, much like the one introduced in Secrets of the Blue Hill Library, coming this summer.
The children’s section(区) of our library is on the lower level, and I felt when I walked down the steps, opened the small door (just right for a child) and entered the room with many rows of shelves. It was a wonderland where new adventures (奇遇) and friends awaited(等待).
I clearly the pleasant smell of books — a mix of new and smell — that attracted me deeply, and, like a bee moving from flower to flower, I book after book as I took in varieties of on those shelves and tried to choose the next ones I would take home. I preferred to read books about real-life heroes, whose lives me a lot. From the books on our library shelves, the world was opened to me in an attractive way.
, of course, my reading took me up the steps and into the library on the first and second floors, where I continued reading every book with much . To be honest, I can’t how different my life would have been if it had not been for the variety of reading I at the library. I can say for certain that, its strong and comforting presence in my life, I would not be the person I am today — a successful writer.
In the book Secrets of the Blue Hill Library, the people of this small town have no . But two wonderful women come together to provide both a nice library for the town and a home for Anne, the leading character. But that is only the beginning of the adventures that await Anne—and you as my fellow library lover.

Most essays are made up of a beginning, a middle and an end.The beginning arouses the reader’s interest to his attention to the subject of the essayor the necessary background information. The middle gives us clear and logical of the facts and ideas the writer intends to put forth. The end winds up the essay with a forceful statement to influence the reader’s impression and shows consequences of the argument.
To the writer the beginning is often the hardest part of an essay, because he has to decide from what point to , and in what direction to go. The end is important because it often gives the reader the deepest impression. It should be short, forceful and thought-provoking. No ideas should be introduced in a concluding paragraph.
Sometimes it is good to the concluding paragraph to the introduction. If, for instance, a question is raised in the beginning, an answer should be given in the end.

America’s Beauty Is in Its Diversity
America is built on the idea of freedom, and there is no exception for Muslim women. I the freedom of religion and speech. But mostly, I believe it’s OK to be , and to stand up for who and what you are. So I believe in wearing the hijab.
The hijab is a religious head covering, like a scarf. I am Muslim, and keeping my head covered is a of maturity(成熟)and respect toward my and to Allah’s will. , I also like to wear it to be different. I don’t usually like to do what everyone else is doing. I want to be a(n) , not just part of the crowd. But when I first wore it, I was also afraid of the that I’d get at school.
I on my own that sixth grade was the I should start wearing the hijab. I was about what the kids would say or even do to me. I thought they might make fun of me, or be scared of me and my headscarf. Kids at that age usually like to be all the same, and there’s little or no of differences.
On the first day of school, I put all those thoughts behind my back and walked in with my head held high. I was holding my breath a little, but I was also proud to be a Muslim, proud to be wearing the hijab, proud to be different.
I was about everything I had thought the kids would say or even do to me. I actually met a lot of people because of wearing my head covering. Most of the kids would come and ask me questions — — about the hijab and why I wore it.
I did hear some kids were making fun of me, there was one girl----she wasn’t even in my class, and we never really talked much---and she spoke me, and I wasn’t even there! I made a lot of new friends that year, friends that I still have until this very day, five years later.
Yes, I’m different, but everyone is different here, in one way or another. This is the of America.
