I was going to buy some fruits and medicine for my headache. After I parked my car,I went into the market. It wasn't as (1) as I had expected.Only a few people were shopping in it.
In the market,I saw a little girl (2) in a shopping car(车).She looked to be 9 months old with blond curly hair and blue eyes.
She was such a lovely girl that I couldn't(3) my eyes away. Then I did what I always do with children:I gave her my best smile.I may have looked a bit(4) ,but it came from my heart.
I've learned that everyone(5) a smile sometimes, even strangers at the market in a rush to get home.
She took her time deciding just(6) to deal with my smile. But finally, she smiled.
I laughed and waved(挥手) goodbye. And she blew me a kiss.
That put a smile on my face and then I got a smile in(7) from every shopper I passed.
I was still smiling when I got home and(8) I'd forgotten to get medicine.Luckily,I didn't need it.My headache was gone.
Want to change the world?Try smiling. In that simple(9) of everyone's smiles, this tiring world would become a better place.
(10) you're lucky, you'll be blown a kiss and it maybe make your headache go away.

Along the way, everyone will have a lot of things to remember. One thing happened long time ago,but it has remained in my(1) .
It happened when I was in Grade Four.My biology(2) ,Mr.White, came to the classroom five minutes before the class began. He looked excited and said to us,"Boys and Girls, today I have a(3) but interesting task for you to complete.Do you want to know what it is?Are you interested?"Everyone(4) great interest. We couldn't wait to know what we would do next.
Later,Mr.White led us to go(5) the biology laboratory. "During the following days, one of your tasks is going to(6) what will happen to these caterpillars(毛毛虫) and what you have learned from the project. You should watch the caterpillars carefully every day. " Mr.Write said and wrote some(7) on the blackboard.
My class started doing a special(8) in which we raised butterflies from caterpillars,(9)
all of us watched the insects in our laboratory.Within a week they began to come out(10) .We all paid more attention to(11) them by heart. Finally, the wings began to get(12) and wet. Then the butterflies shook their wings carefully to dry by(13) .
About three days later, the insects began to fly.One little boy,who had been watching carefully each day,saw this and announced in a(n)(14) voice,"They are flying!"
"Of course they're(15) ! "a little girl in a class replied."They're called butterflies.If they didn't fly,they'd just be butter!"

Something that I learnt from both my parents was the importance of having respect(尊重)for other people.I remember one day when we were travelling on a bus and
(1) sat down while other people were standing. My mother shouted at me, "
(2) immediately! You have young legs and you don't need to sit down. "At the time I felt embarrassed about being told of(3) ,but now I understand.I think children nowadays have(4) that respect and it really makes me angry if I see children sitting down while(5) people are standing.
One area in which we had a lot of rules was table(6) .For example,we weren't allowed to start our meal(7) the oldest person had started. We had to say "thank you" when our food was(8) ,and eat everything on our plates before we could(9) the table. We couldn't make any noise when eating.Worse than that,we were only(10) to have sweets at the weekend,as a special(11) if we had been good.
Although my upbringing(养育)was perhaps a bit(12) compared with modern children,I'm very thankful to my parents for giving me a clear(13) in life.Even though I was sometimes(14) ,I think it has made me a better person. In my view, children need clear rules, but more than that they need to learn how to get on with(15) people and realize they are not the center of the world.

Not long ago,my daughter's leather shoes were cut by a knife. She burst into tears.I took the shoes to a shoemaker to get them repaired.
The young shoemaker took a look at the opening and said, "There is (1) I can do but change the leather."
His master looked at them and said to me, "If you (2) C me,I will add more cuts in the form of special style and reuse."
I didn't quite know why,but I decided to (3) the shoes.
Two days later,I went there to get the shoes. At the first sight I found there were indeed five or six (4) on each shoe, but all the openings were covered by soft red leather sewed (缝) with thick thread (线).The shoes looked more special and interesting than ever.I couldn't help (5) the master for his work.
Another time,my sister's white (6) had a large opening on the back.My wife took it over and checked (7) ,and then said, "Let me take it home and repair it."
Three days went past, and I was (8) to see it again:all the openings were sewed up by thin and(9) thread and they looked like the ice crystal (晶体) on winter's branches (树枝) in the north. She (10) made a lovely snowman and a wooden house on the blouse.I said with praise,"I's just as beautiful as a piece of (11) ."
"I learned from the master.Patches (补丁) can be designed to look (12) ." replied my wife.
Her words taught me even more:perfection is (13) to achieve in everything;patches are unavoidable (不可避免的),so is human's life, which will appear in the form of wound, disability or disease. (14) you can't change that, all you can do and have to do is to cover the wound by patches and try your best to make a most beautiful flower on the wound, and that is (15) life teaches us.Once you understand it,you can enjoy your life better.
