I am very excited to learn that you’re coming to Xi’an for travel. Both my parent miss you a lot. So is our friend, Ruby. April is best time of the year to visit Xi’an. There is only a few rain and the weather is neither too hot or too cold. There are so many places I wanted to take you to after I finish my work like a volunteer in the local charity. When you come, you can stay with ourselves. My house is about three kilometers far away from Xi’an Moslem Street where is full of local foods.

I am grateful to my English teacher Susan, at whose help I couldn’t have won the first prize in English Talent Competition for high school student last week.
I used to be poor in speaking English. I was too shy to speak in class. Since she teaches us last term, she has been encouraging him to overcome fear and speak out in class. Thanks to her, I have made great progresses. Besides, I practiced several times in the front of her. It was her advice which made me a better speaker and full of confidence. And I owe my success to her.
Susan set me a good example, I am determined to become an English teacher when I grow up.

When I first learned to write in English, I run into many difficulties．The mainly problem was that I always thought in Chinese but tried to translate everything into Chinese．My teacher advised me to keep the diaries．I followed her advices．Happily it worked．Soon I began to enjoy talk to myself on paper as I was learning to express me in simple English. Today is Sunday. The sky is full of sunshine, so does my life. At about 9:00 a.m., I go to the bookstore with my friends. There was a lot of new books. I didn’t know which one to buy, because these books were both useful to me. At last, I chose two. At 10:00, we went to the cinema; the film calling Titanic was very popular. Last weekend, I spent busy but meaningfully days ! I helped my grandparents with their trip in Dalian. On Saturday morning, together with my grandparents, I searched the Internet for the train schedule, the weather in Dalian, or some hotel informations. In the afternoon, they went to the train station and managed to buy two tickets for my grandparents though there had a long queue. After dinner, I packed the things into the suitcase, which my grandparents would be need, such as clothes, glasses, an umbrella, and a map. The next morning, I went to station to see them off. Waved goodbye to them on the platform, I felt happy for them and wished them a safe journey.

Anna and I have been good friends when we were children. Two years ago, her family got into trouble because a terrible accident. To cheer her up, I always try my best to help her.
One day she said she would invite us to have lunch. I began to worry: she had no money, and if I offered to pay, I would hurt her. We arrived at a restaurant, where was small but seemed nice and quiet. She paid for only one meal and we were started to enjoy the delicious food together. After school, I was about to enter into my apartment when I saw a little dirty dog lie beside the dustbin. He looked extremely weak. Immediately the homeless dog filled me of sympathy. So I decided to take him home. I gave him some food and a bath. After the bath he looked energy and refreshed. What a lovely dog!
When my parents got home, I asked that I could keep the dog. To my surprised and joy, they agreed. Up to now, he has become member of our family and everyone had enjoyed his company. You may be present in the room with your child, but will not be engaged to reading the book for your child. I am writing to ask that you are able to do me a favor. I want to have a pen friend, hopefully, a girl in her early twenties, and with interests similarly to mine. My parents decided try a new Western restaurant last weekend, so I went with them. The evening started well and the menu looks good. I had soup with my starter but the waiter didn't bring a spoon so it was getting a bit cold after I could eat it. Then, for our main course, I had a piece of beef. Besides, I couldn't cut the beef because of my knife wasn't very good. For my dessert I had a apple pie but I didn't have a fork or a spoon so I ate them with my fingers! What a terribly experience!
