Last weekend, I spent busy but meaningfully days ! I helped my grandparents with their trip in Dalian. On Saturday morning, together with my grandparents, I searched the Internet for the train schedule, the weather in Dalian, or some hotel informations. In the afternoon, they went to the train station and managed to buy two tickets for my grandparents though there had a long queue. After dinner, I packed the things into the suitcase, which my grandparents would be need, such as clothes, glasses, an umbrella, and a map. The next morning, I went to station to see them off. Waved goodbye to them on the platform, I felt happy for them and wished them a safe journey.
Now they must be enjoying themselves in Dalian , I thought !

It’s very kind for you to let me know about your beautiful city. Now I’d like to tell you something about your beautiful hometown. It located on the bank of a river and it is a beautiful place to live in. Its economy has been developing rapid in the past 2 decades. More schools and hospitals are available to people. Besides, there are some problems, such as water and air pollution and heavy traffics in rush hours. In my opinion, my hometown should develop its economy scientifically. Something must be doing to prevent water and air pollution or the growth of its population should be brought under the control so that we’ll have a better hometown.

Yesterday was my mother birthday．My father and I planned to give him a surprise．In the morning，like usual，my father and mother went to work but I went to school at eight o’clock．My mother seemed to have forgotten her birthday．At four o’clock in the afternoon my father bought a bunch of flowers as well a lot of good food my mother likes to eat. I bought my mother large and beautiful birthday cake．When my mother got home，she was greatly surprised by that she saw. All that we had done made her very happily．After supper，I asked my mother to sit down and watched TV．My father began to clean the floor and I set out to doing the washing-up.

Last Saturday I went to the library as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went up to see what was happened I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. To his great relief, the kid was saved.
I was proud what I had done. I hope everyone can give a hand when someone else is in need.

Patience is of great important in our daily life. Once I waited a bus to come at a stop. 30 minutes past, but no bus came. Both upset and annoyed, I decided to walk on feet. But no sooner had I left when the bus arrived. I thought if I had waited for one more minute, I would have caught it. If I chose to take a next bus, I would have to wait for other 30 minutes. Only then do I realize my problem. Being impatient will possibly waste all the effort that we have put it in. Now whenever I am close to lose my patience, I’ll think of this experience.

After shopping, Mother and I went to a restaurant for lunch. I notice Mother looking at a nearby table
occupy by an elderly woman and young couple. They ate silently, and it was clearly that things were not
going well. As we left, Mother stopped on their table. "Excuse me," she said, put her arm around the
unhappy old woman. "You remind me so many of my mother. May I hug you?" The woman smiled happily
as she accepted to it. After we left, I said, "That was very nice of you, Mother. So I didn't think she looked
like Grandma." "Neither did me," said Mother cheerfully.
