It was reported that a fire broke out in a tall building in Beijing on Thursday afternoon. No one was killed in the fire. The building, which caught fire, is near the three-tower shopping and office complex(综合体) named Xihuan Plaza. One of the three towers was in heavy smoke because of the polyfoam(泡沫塑料)outside. The fire was put out at about 3:34 pm, 16 minutes after the firemen received alarms(报警).
Witnesses said the fire broke out at about 3:15 pm. The shopping center had people inside evacuated(疏散)shortly after the fire. By 4:50 pm, all the workers from the center returned.
