My mother says she probably wouldn’t love butterflies(蝴蝶)today if it weren’t for Mr. Patti.

Then her brother Howie pointed out that there weren’t any women playing major league baseball(棒球联赛). Ada realized he was right. That made her so angry that she started throwing baseballs into the air and hitting them as as she could.
One day Ada hit a ball through Mr. Patti’s window. She was about to run away when a bright yellow butterfly flew through the hole in the window. A blue butterfly . Then a lot of colourful butterflies flew out like a rainbow(彩虹). Ada to open her arms and catch the butterflies.
It was too bad she didn’t she heard Mr. Patti shouting, “Hey! You there!” Ada almost jumped 12 feet. When she landed, Mr. Patti handed her a net and a box. He pointed to the butterflies. “One hundred butterflies. We need to get them all back. Go!”
Running with the net, Ada began to catch some of the butterflies. By the end of the day, her
was filled with butterflies ― including the bright yellow butterfly. There were still 13 butterflies missing. Mr. Patti showed Ada pictures had taken of the missing butterflies. The photographs were so beautiful that she could hardly catch her breath.
“ do you get them to stay still(静止的,不动的)?” Ada asked.
“I’ll show you,” Mr. Patti replied.
And he did. He taught my mother everything he knew about photographing butterflies. That’s her now. It is good because there still aren’t any women playing in the major leagues.
“I’ll never forget that day,” my mother says. “Breaking that window changed my .” Then she goes into her workroom, which is filled with swirling butterflies.

“Never give up!” It is my law of life. It has brought me . I learned the law from my father’s story.
My father was in a poor village in the north of Jiangsu, in China. When he was a young boy, he went to school in the morning, then in the fields till sunset. And then he did his homework midnight. Life was hard, because they had no !
At the age of 14, my father heard of the United States of America. It was the land of gold, the land where people can become rich.
“ don’t I go to America?”he thought to himself, full of hope.
So my father came to America. “I had thought it was easy to money in America,”he told me. “But when I arrived there, I realized it was not true. They did not like to hire me because I spoke English. Later, I worked in a small restaurant, cleaning up tables, dishes and sweeping the floor. Life was for the first few years. I worked from 10 am to 11 pm. I wanted to go to school to learn English, but it was impossible. I couldn’t the schooling.”

As we know, everyone has problems. And we don’t deal with our problems, we can easily become unhappy. So how do we deal with our problems? Here are some ways.

My life, as it really is, is always filled with sadness and little joy. However, no matter what happens, I can always face it .
In July, last year, I couldn't believe the news that I was to enter the only key high school in my hometown. Then I rushed to my home and told my parents. But my father didn't seem as as I was. He just kept smoking without saying a word and my mother put her head down and couldn't help _ .
What I saw didn't make me surprised. I knew very well _ my family was like. My mum had been in bed for two years because of her disease. I knew my family lived a hard life and couldn't afford my tuition fee(学费). I felt so upset at that moment but I could say to my parents.
I decide to help my father with his work to support my family instead of my schooling.
To my surprise, things completely changed just three days before the beginning of the new term. My head teacher who had taught me three years came to my family with some money, which had been raised(筹集) by my schoolmates. He encouraged me, “Always have .”
At the same time, my father also earned some extra money, he tried his best to afford part of my tuition fee.
I knew I was such a lucky dog and decided to study harder in return. With tears in my eyes, I stepped into the key high school I had dreamed of.
I have been studying hard since I entered the high school. Whenever I meet difficulties, I always think of my teacher and schoolmates, and I can always get enough courage to go on. Because I have a college dream and must work hard for it no matter how hard life is. Just as a saying goes, “When one door shuts, opens in life.”
