短文改错（共10题，每题1分，满分10分）
假定英语课上老师要求同桌之间交换修改作文，请你修改你同桌写的以下作文。文中共有10处语言错误，每句中最多有两处错误。每处错误仅涉及一个单词的增加、删除或修改。
增加：在缺词处加一个漏子符号（∧），并在此符号下面写出该加的词。
删除：把多余的词用（＼）划掉。
修改：在错的词下划一横线，并在该词下面写出修改后的词。
注意：1. 每处错误及其修改均仅限一词；2 只允许修改10处，多者（从第11处起）不计分。
Yesterday I read an article about a eating competition to be holding next month. I'd like to have a try. I'm always hungry, and I'm a bigger eater. Sometimes I eat more than I want to, just to amaze my friends. Last week, I tell my friend Jeff I was so hungry that I could eat a whole large pizzas. Jeff said that was possible. I said, “If you buy it, and I'll eat it.” And I did! However, the harmful effects of overeating make I a little bit nervous. I never know what overeating can cause holes in one's stomach. So competitive eating might be my sport, but I think I'll check with my doctor before I sign up compete.
