Recently， our school has held the meaningful discussion on whether it is reasonable for middle school students to have classes on weekends. Some of our classmates believe we should have classes on weekends because we can make fully use of free time to review the lessons we had learnt. Some others are against the opinion, saying we had better to have a good rest on weekends so that we can work effective during the weekdays. The rest agree with neither of the opinion. They have the view which keeping the balance between work and play are important for us. They suggest one day of the weekend should used to learn our lessons and on the other day, we should do something interested or have a rest.

Some of us are having problems with our parents, as they often looked into our school bags or read our diary. I fully understand that why we are not comfortable about it, but there’s no need to feel too sadly. Our parents are checking our bags or diaries make sure we’re not getting into any trouble. You have probably heard some horrible stories about other kids and thought we might do same. Or perhaps they just want to connect with us and are doing it all wrong. My suggestion is: Tell them we want them to trust us as many as we’d like to trust them. If you don’t think you can talk to them, write them a letter and leave it lie around—they are bound to read it.

It appear that people don't need phone boxes any longer. In a small British village, people decided to turning a red phone box into a library. Now, the phone box is one of the country smallest libraries. About 150 books sit on shelves in a phone box. Villagers there can take whatever they want and leave their own books for exchanges. They can use the library around the clock when it's open 365 days a year and 24 hours a day. Since the library opened its bright door, people from all parts of the village paid it a visit. Among it there're senior citizens living in the neighbourhood, children getting off school buses and university students are stopping by late at night. It is convenient for them to use such a wonderful library.
