I was only 12 when we moved to California. I remember that I enjoyed flying non-stop across a whole country and that I wasn’t very happy about leave my friends. But Dad think it’d be good for we all to live in a suburb instead in the middle of a city. And Uncle Jeff, his brother, who’d been living in California for about 20 years, were always telling us how wonderful California it was. He said it would be easily for Dad to get a job driving a taxi, that had been Dad’s job in New York. But we all agreed to try it for one year. Now we’ve been here for four years, and we all love it.

Dear David,
I am an university student. I once thought life at the university must be excellent, but now I changed my mind. I have three roommates, and I was the last one move into the dormitory. Of all my teachers, Mr Moore is the one who impress me most. He is 34, so he looks young for his age. And he's one of the most popular teacher in our school. Mr Moore pays more attention to his way of teaching, comparing with other teachers.
He tries different ways to make his classes actively and lively. On his opinion, we should not only know "what", but understand "why". So, instead giving us answers immediately, he encourages us to think by myself whenever he puts forward questions. With his help, we've learned from how to settle problems. High school student are under increasing pressure to study long hours. They spend over 8 hours a day study at school and some of whom have to attend extra classes in their spare time. This greatly affect their health. To help solve this problem, last December, our headmaster made new regulation that no students, even that in Senior 3, shall go to school at weekends or during official holidays. As in a Senior 3 student, I am in favor of this regulation. The winter vacation was approaching, and I’ll make good use of the time to relax. But if I relax I will be able to study more effective then I come back to school.
