Jack Brown, a office worker, lives in Washington. He inherited(继承) a million dollar when he was 23 years old. Because his college friends were looking for their jobs, he didn’t have to. But he was happy at all. Jack decided to live a simply life like everyone else. He gave $ 10,000 of their money to a charity to help poor children live a better life. Today he is 36. My family are planning a visit of Hong Kong Disneyland this summer vacation. I’ve got
some information about the ticket price and now I’m writing for some detail information.
I wonder that children under 3 need to pay off a ticket and how is the difference between a
Peak Day Ticket and a Special Day Ticket. Is that possible for us to get a discount if we purchase
as a group? Can we book ticket through the Internet? In addition to, I’d like to know if we allowed
to cancel our ticket booking if we can not make the tour for our personal reasons.

Mike called his wife to tell him that he had got two film tickets. He asked her to go and meet him outside the theatre. Mike’s wife is very glad because they hadn’t seen a film for quite long time. She met her husband in the entrance to the cinema. Mike took out his wallet to get the ticket, so they were not there. He then tried his pockets, but the tickets were not there, too. Mike looked very worrying. “What’s the matter?” asked his wife. “Well,” Mike explained, “I remember that I did with them. I put them on the desk and forgot to pick them up before leaving for the office!”

My swimming experience is extreme interesting. There was a time when I swim like a rock. This went on till one day when I was fishing with a friend of mine at nearby pond. I slipped into one. Had my friend not come to my rescue, I would have been drowned. Ever since then, I had come to know the importance of learning to swim. I didn’t attend at any training class but learned it all by myself. Strange to say, I have difficult swimming at all now. Though the way I swim look awkward (笨拙的), at least it can keep me from floating. Thinking of this, I feel quiet satisfied.
