Money can buy happiness, but only when you spend it on other people, researchers said.
______. The results showed that people feel happier when they spend money on others. They asked the following questions: what made them happy, what was their salary(薪水), and how they spent money, including bills(帐单), gifts for themselves, gifts for others and money for charity. “_____,” the research team leader Dunn said.
Dunn’s team also talked with 16 people at a company before and after they received a reward(奖金). Their reward was between $3,000 and 48,000. “If a person gave more of their money to the charity, he or she would experience greater happiness. _________,” the researcher said in their report.
