After a day’s hard work I went to bed early than usual. It was about two o’clock in the morning when I was awakened by a big noise. I got out of the beds and slowly went upstairs. There was a light in the living room. I listened to carefully and heard two men speak quietly. I believed my house had broken into and I was really frightening. I went back upstairs and immediately call the police. You can imagine how embarrassed I was when they came upstairs but told me they had turned the television off for me and something was all right.

One rainy day while I was walking home with one of my friend, a truck came to a stop besides me.The driver put the window down and offered us a umbrella because he found we were wet through. I stood there and couldn’t believe in that a complete stranger is so thoughtful. The man insisted, so I grateful l accepted the offer, thanked him and watched the truck disappear down the road. This man might need the umbrella himself, and he preferred to give it to everyone else. It was a lesson to us and it was possible give without expect anything in return.

Once, a man got on a bus to New York. Because he did not want to pay, so he hid in the toilet. But a passenger saw her. She tapped the person in front of her on the shoulder and say, “There’s a bum(流浪汉)in toilet. Tell the bus driver.” The message was passing on from person to person. But somewhere along the way, it was changed. The bus driver told that there was a bomb in the toilet. He immediate stopped the bus and telephoned the police. Generally, we prefer to do things the way we considered to be the best．However, it is important to listen to those who love us and want to give us an advice when we have serious problems in our lives．Parents have gained some life experiences and they know what to act in different situations．That's why we should ask them for help first when they have problems．Therefore, there are moments when we avoid them and don't want to follow them．With time passed, my brother as well as I have realized that our parents are right．Please turn for your parents when in trouble, for they worth trusting and ready to offer help all the time．
