I have been in Hong Kong for a whole week. I will stay here for another week.
Hong Kong is really a great place to visit. There’s so much to see and do here. And I’ve done so many wonderful things.
I’ve taken the cable car(缆车) to the Peak Galleria (山顶广场). I’ve been to Hong Kong Racing Museum. I’ve known a lot about horse racing. I’ve also visited Ladies’ Street. In the street I bought some beautiful clothes for my mother. Last night I went to a concert. Chinese traditional music has always been my favourite. This morning I went to Ocean Park and watched the dolphins perform. Dolphins are so clever. They can jump from the water to touch a ball, sway (摇摆) their bodies to music, kiss people and even do math. Mr Host is going to take me to an Italian film festival in Hong Kong Cultural Centre tomorrow. I’m so excited because I have never seen an Italian film before. But some people say they’re boring.

Dear Annie,
I have never written a letter to a newspaper before, I have just never felt the need to do such a thing. I have always felt I was quite able to do everything by myself. But now I know I was wrong.
Sometimes you really need help in life, I guess. And that’s why I’m writing this letter to you.
I have a happy family. I love my children and they love me . I’m a mother of three children. I know well how to bring up (带大)children, and two of them are already over twenty, so it is nothing new for me.

A funny thing happened to my sister Tina last month. She lives in Japan and teaches English. In Japan, people don’t usually wear their outdoor shoes in the house or in school, and a lot of buildings have places for shoes. So her school ahs a special place for shoes.
Tina teaches English in the evening. One Friday, she went to school, and she put her shoes in the shoe box—as usual. Then she had an interesting spoken English class with her students. But to her surprise, her shoes weren’t in the box. There was only one pair of those there, and they weren’t her hoes! She had to get home in a hurry.
