第一节：短文改错（共10小题；每小题1分，满分10分）
此题要求改正所给短文中的错误。对标有题号的每一行作出判断：如无错误，在该行右边横线上画一个钩（√）；如有错误（每行只有一个错误），则按下列情况改正：
此行多一个词：把多余的词用斜线（＼）划掉，在该行右边横线上写出该词，并也用斜线划掉。
此行缺一个词：在缺词处加一个漏字符号（∧），在该行右边横线上写出该加的词。
此行错一个词：在错的词下划一横线，在该行右边横线上写出改正后的词。
注意：原行没有错的不要改。

When an English traveler, who spent a few week in Sweden, was about to return to home, he found he had only enough money left to get a ticket to England. Since it was only two-day voyage, he believed he can get home without eating anything. He final bought a ticket with that little money and went to board the ship. He closed his ears to the sound of the lunch bell or refused to go to the place where people had his dinner when dinnertime came. Therefore, he couldn’t stand this any longer and went to the dining hall, enjoy the last meal on the ship. Dear Tom,
I’m an Australian boy of 16 years old, which lives in Sydney. I like Chinese very much, but I want a pen pal in China. At school I like playing football and tennis. Our favorite subject is science because it’s very interesting. I won’t like history, for I think it’s rather boring. I play guitar well, so I join in the school rock band. In the afternoon we usually play football or tennis. We usually got home at about 5:30 pm. For weekends I often go out for a swim, which is really relaxed. Do you like sports and games? What do you like to play?

Last Sunday we went to see a AIDS patient in hospital. We bought her some flower and fruit. She was glad to see us. Many people began to avoid see her after she was infected to HIV virus. A doctor told us that the HIV virus mustn’t be infected through daily communication and that those who suffering from AIDS shouldn’t be looked down. We had a talk with the woman and gave her some CDs as gifts. She was moved to tears and promise to be optimistic and confident in overcoming the disease. We promised to see her again before left. In my opinion, the world will become more beautiful if all of us love each other and help those in the trouble.

I’m good at all the subjects, and always ready help others. At school I get along well with my classmates. Therefore, I have a problem that troubles myself all the time. It’s the relationship among my desk-mate and me. He is a hard-working student, who keeps school rule well. But he’s a quiet and shy person. What’s more, he got angry easily. I don’t know what to deal with him. Maybe it’s why we’ve seldom sat down to exchange our feelings or thoughts. I value our friendship. I hope we can know more about with each other and understand each other better. I do hope we will be close to each other than before.

Mrs Brown was walking near a playground. She was a hurry to visit her four grandchildren. She missed him very much, because she had seen them for quite a long time. She was walking while suddenly she saw a ball coming in her direction. She was already in her seventy. Should she kick the hall to send it back and should she just go past leave the ball where it was? Finally with greatly care she gave it a kick. The ball went straight into the goal. How wonderful it was! And she happened to have helped won the match. And all her four grandchildren were on team of the winners.
