In order to realize his dream, Bill Gates, richest man in the world, gave up studying in Harvard
University, that is the most famous in the world. He set up a company and researching the computer
software. As an old saying go, “Interest is the best teacher.” I quite agree with this idea. I began to be
crazy about English when I was a little girl. I got extreme interested in foreign cultures or customs.
To meet me curiosity, I read in English stories every day. It seemed to be the best “meal” of a day. As
a result, I always did very well in English exam. Interest is the key of success.

Time flies as an arrow. I’m already in the second half of senior Grade 3 before I realized it. it 
is only a little more than three months before I graduate middle school. At the present. I’m busy
review my lesson in order to take the college entrance examination. I hope to go to Beijing
Universiv, that is one of the best university not only in China but also in the world. I’ll try my best

Mr. Li is a well-known doctor in our city. Kind but patient, he is always ready to do what he can help his patients. Last Sunday I saw a worst storm in years． It came sudden and went on for over three hours． After lunch, I went into my room to have a rest． The air was hotter, and all is quiet． Then a strong wind started to blow into my room． Pieces of paper on my desk flew high into the air and some flew out the open window． As I ran out to catch them, big drop of rain began to fall． When I came back into house, it was raining harder and harder． I tried very hard to close the window． Then I heard a loudly crashing sound from the back of the house． When I ran out of my room to find out what had happened: a big tree had fallen down and broke the top of the backroom．

I can’t swim because I have a strong fear of water. Look back on my childhood experience, I think three reason might explain the fear. The first reason is that I was not allowed to walking near the water when I was a child, for my mother had unreasonable fear of it. So , even as a child, when I was taught to see the water as something danger. Second, my eyes became bad when I was five . If only I took off my glasses in the water, I could not see anything, but this increased my fear. The worst part of your experience is that as a child once, I see a neighbor drown. Since then I have been more frightened.
