I believe that everyone in the world loves their mother. So am                                                            
I. My
mother is a ordinary teacher.  She works hard at school, just as other
mothers do every day. In fact, she isn’t good health. She have been suffering
from arthritis(关节炎) for  many years. In spite of this, she never stops
working or giving up hope. I still remember the day and when my mother
received a card of congratulations for Teacher’s Day from her director. The
card was read “Thank you for your hard works; Happy Teacher’s Day to
you!” At that moment, I was so moving that tears came to my eyes. I am
proud of my mother because she is my best teacher as good as my mother.

This morning I went to ask for my English teacher to give me some advice on why to learn English well on the weekend. When I arrived his office at 8 o’clock, he had already done her work for almost one hour. First, we should make a plan of study and carry them out until we succeed. Then, we must master any basic knowledge of English such as 26 letters and 48 sounds. Vocabulary is bricks and grammar is bones. We can make different kinds of phrases and sentences with them according the rules. Finally, practice make perfect. When I leave, it was 12 o’clock. Through this lesson, I learned something which couldn’t be learned from textbooks.

How are you those days? I have been missing you very much after I went to college a year ago. Whenever I think of the old days, I feel very happily. Nowadays, as the development of the Internet, there is a kind of language calling Web Language．Some people even speak Chinese mixed with English letters．Recently our class have had a discussion about if we should welcome the Web Language．
40％ of the students think it ridiculous．In their opinions, it does no good to help people communicate, nor is it useful for learning English, Besides, it’ll make Chinese more standard and pure, finally ruining our mother tongue．
However, 60% of our class is fond of it．They think it is simple, convenient and helpful in expressing them．What’s more, it may make the language more interesting．

I just come back from Britain last week. I was luckily enough to be one of the student from different countries to visit the UK from Feb. 16 to 28. We paid a visit to many places, like London, Oxford or the Lake District. I learned much about British culture and history in London, where was my favorite. Most of the Chinese people think the family with one child is more better than the one with more than one child. Last Sunday I saw a worst storm in years．It came sudden and went on for over three hours．After lunch, I went into my room to have a rest．The air was hot, but all was quiet．Then a strong wind started to blow into my room．Pieces of paper on my desk flew high into the air and some flew out the open window．As I ran out to catch it, big drop of rain began to fall．When I come back into the house, it was raining more harder and harder．Then I heard a loud crashing sound from the back of the house．When I ran out to find out that had happened, a big tree had fallen down and broke the top of the backroom．

Last Saturday I went to the library as usually. At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help. I went up to see what was happened I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything. Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly. I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety. To his great relief, the kid was saved.
I was proud what I had done. I hope everyone can give a hand when someone else is in need.
