An old man sat on a train. He just went to visit        and he was going back to his hometown.
He was looking at the new shoes and he was very happy         his son bought the shoes for him.       , one of the shoes fell out of the window of the train      . The people around him all thought it was a pity (遗憾). So the people on the train all said to him. “Don’        ! It’s only one shoe; you still have the other shoe.” But        their surprise, the old man       the other shoe out of the window. A woman next to him asked him, “ Why did you do that? It’s new.”
The old man said with a smile(面带微笑), “ Only one shoe is no          for me. But if some people find that         of shoes, they can         them happily!” The people around him smiled and understood why the old man threw the other shoe out of the window.
