Homework
Students can benefit（益处）from homework in many ways. To begin with, students have to review what they have learnt in class in order to do their homework. This gives them the chance(机会) to see if they have understood everything the teacher has taught and practice what they have to work on their own when they do their homework at home and not depend(依赖) on teachers and classmates for help.
However, there are also disadvantages（不利条件） to do homework. First, too much homework costs a lot of time and energy, so students have no time for their hobbies and activities. What is worse, many students complain that homework is boring because they have to do the same things again and again.
