Dear Sir,
Last night I got caught in the heavy rain on the way home. As the result, I got a bad cold with a headache. I felt very tiring. My mother took me see the doctor. After the examination, the doctor told me to make it easy. He said it was nothing seriously. He also told me to have a good rest for a couple of days, take the medicines on time and drunk more boiled water. So I have to ask you a three-day leave. After I recover, I would try to make up for the missing lessons. If there are anything I do not understand, could I turn to you for help?

My soccer coach retired in last week．I wanted to do anything special for him at his retirement party．My mum makes the better biscuits in the world，so I decide to ask her for help．Mum taught me some basic step of baking．I insisted on doing most of the baking myself. I thought the biscuits were really well．My only mistake was that I dropped some on the floor after I was packing them up．
At a party, my coach, with a biscuit in his mouth, asked surprisingly who made them and joked,“I might have to retire again next year just get some more of these biscuits.”
My favorite picture at the party is of my coach and me enjoy the biscuits with happy laughter!

Everything was more awesome than visiting the splendid Mount Huang on third day. And the memory will surely last a lifetime. I’m also glad to have made many friends here, to whom I hope to see again in the future.
I believe this visit will promote the friendship and understanding between the Australian and Chinese student. Once again , I want to extend my most sincerely gratitude to all of you.

SQ3R stand for five steps in the reading process: Survey, Question, Read, Review and Recite. The first step is survey, which helps you to predict how the author is going to say. The second step is question, which means to form questions basing on your survey. The third step is read and note something down. Dear Headmaster,
I am writing to talk about the canteen of our school. There are only a few stand in the canteen, leading to lots of students have to line up for food. It is waste of time, isn’t it? But at times the food is not fresh and does not taste deliciously. So it’s not surprising that some students chose to go to the street to buy junk food which do harm to their health. Would you think about that how to improve it? I would appreciate you if you could take some measures. Hopefully, my opinion can be taken to account.
