Our school will set a voluntary service club on April 22nd. The main purpose of it is to call on and organize students to serve for society better and develop our ability to cooperate to others.
The volunteers are required to work at weekends to visit the elderly in the nursing homes in our city, keep public places clean and offer some guidances to the passengers in some stations and so on. The students which are healthy, patience, warm-hearted and willing to help others are welcome to join the club. I learned early in life that I had to be more patient and little aggressive. From the time I was about four until I was about six, I destroyed each of my toy. I was happy when the toys worked, but when things did wrong, I got angry and broke it. For a while parents bought me new toys. But before long they began to see which was happening. When I tear apart my fifth birthday toy train, my father said, "That's it. No more toys to you." My punishment lasted a year. Meanwhile, I found out that with more patience I must make my toys to last. My attitude changed from then on.

Hiking has become popular in China during recent years, and more and more people become hikers, who are calling Donkey Friends (驴友) in Chinese. A discussion about hiking has held in our class. Some students think that hiking during vacation can make people to feel healthier, fresher and more harmonious with nature. They find themselves deep attracted by the beauty of nature. They can also be relaxing walking in deep mountains. But nowadays some hikers even begin to explore the places people have never been to, and accidents have been happened now and then because poor knowledge of hiking. Some hikers even lost their life. I sometimes just wanted to sit in the dark. I hate to admit this, or sometimes when I’m feeling bad, I’ll lock myself in the bathroom, turn away the lights and just sit on the floor. I don’t know what. Maybe I feel comfortable and relaxed in totally darkness. Sometimes, I just stare into the darkness without think of anything. Maybe I’m sitting there waiting for someone show up. I also think of all kind of things sometimes. I will not only think of the things that they happened in the past, but imagine what will happen in a future. It really helps as I will be happier after that.
