【2012苏州市中考】Is the art of conversation dying? The other day, my wife two teenage children did something we haven’t for ages. It didn’t require the Internet, a TV screen, batteries… or anything else for that matter. But we all it so much we’re thinking of doing it again sometime.
We had a conversation. The kind of real, live conversation that was when I was growing up, but which seems all too rare these days. Today we have chat rooms, text messages, e-mails but we seem to be losing the of communicating face-to-face. And teenagers nowadays seem to communicating with their friends by sending text messages rather than actually to them.

Math is one of the most boring classes for many students. But recently, at the University of California in the US, a class got 400 students interested. There were even another 35 from behind windows.

When I was about six years old, my brother David and I visited our aunt, Mary. We stayed in her house for a night. David was only 4 years old, and was still of the dark., so Mary left the hall light on when we slept.
