Greg Evans started to study film at Ryerson University，but had a change of heart and switched to social work at George Brown College in the second year.Yet the college recognized only one of Evans' generalinterest credits(学分) from Ryerson，and also made him take English all over again although he had passed it at university.

Harvard researchers have created a tough, low-cost, biodegradable(可生物降解的) material inspired by insects’ hard outer shells. The material’s inventors say it has a number of possible uses and someday could provide a more environmentally friendly alternative(替代物) to plastic. My wife Julie and I were out on the road that runs around where we live, when we saw an old worn-out dog stumbling (蹒跚) painfully up the road. We stopped, bent down, talked gently to the dog and patted it. I checked and there was a collar with a phone number. I called but no one answered.
