There are many different ways ofseeing a town for the firsttime. One of them is to walk around it, guide-book hand. Ofcourse, we may with our guide-books the history and developments of a town and get to know them. then, if wetake our time and in a town for a while, we may get to knowit better. When we it as a whole, we begin to have some ，which even the best guide-books do not answer. Why is thetown just this, this shape, this plan, this size? Why do itsstreets in this particular way, and not in any way?
Here even the best guide-book us. One can't find in itthe information about how a town has developed to the appearance. It may not describe the original (最初的） of atown. However, one may get some idea of what it look likeby walking around the town. One can also imagine the townwas first planned and built. Then one can learn more about in whatdirection the town to develop.
What is the of studying towns in this way? For me, it is that one gets a greater depth of pleasure by visiting and seeing a town with one's own eyes. A visit to a town may helpone better understand why it is attractive just reading it in aguide-book.

One day I was in a taxi and we headed the airport. We were driving in the right lane suddenly a black car drove out of a parking space right in front of us. My taxi driver slammed on his brakes，slide sideways，and at the very last moment our car stopped and narrowly the other car by just inches！The driver of the other car looked around and started at us.

Sometimes your biggest weakness can become your biggest strength． the story of this boy for example．He decided to study judo(柔道) he had lost his left in a car accident．
The boy began lessons an old Japanese judo master．The boy was doing well， he couldn’t understand why，after three months of training，the master had him only one move．

That morning, I stepped into the classroom, ready to share my knowledge and experience with seventy-five students who would be my English Literature class. Have you ever not wanted to do something so badly that you would rather die than go? Well that’s how I about joining Madcaps, a mothers and daughters club assisting philanthropies（慈善事业）.But now I believe that you open up your mind to things because eventually you might end up enjoying it.
“It’s a waste of time”, I said when my mom told I had to join Madcaps, and then when she said I had to at a homeless shelter I thought this just could not be .
We got there late, of course, and the security guard led us to the kitchen we ran into 48 other fellow Madcaps members. Since I’m so socially awkward（糟糕的） I had met only one person at a pool party, earlier this year. I looked around for her but she was not there. Damn, I was ! When the man in charge came out and asked for 3 mothers to work outside the to clean up the plates, my mom just happened to volunteer leaving me to food with others.
