I am a 18 year-old middle school student. I have been busy in my study and seldom helped my parents with the houseworks. Feeling quite sorry for that, and I begin to think about what to do to help. Last Sunday, when my parents went out shop, I suddenly got an idea: why not giving the rooms a throughout cleaning? Firstly I collected both the books, newspapers and other things scattered in the rooms and put it in place. Then I wiped the dust off all the furniture. After that, I swept and mopped the floors. At this very moment, my parents came back and were quite surprising to see all the rooms tidy and floors shining. My mother gave me a hug and I see satisfaction in her eyes. Tired as I was, I never felt so happy.

Of all my teachers, Mr Moore is the one who impress me most. He is 34, so he looks young for his age. And he's one of the most popular teacher in our school. Mr Moore pays more attention to his way of teaching, comparing with other teachers.
He tries different ways to make his classes actively and lively. On his opinion, we should not only know "what", but understand "why". So, instead giving us answers immediately, he encourages us to think by myself whenever he puts forward questions. With his help, we've learned from how to settle problems. A tornado is a rotated column of air from a thunderstrom to the ground. The most violent have winds of more than 400 kilometre per hour. High school student are under increasing pressure to study long hours. They spend over 8 hours a day study at school and some of whom have to attend extra classes in their spare time. This greatly affect their health. To help solve this problem, last December, our headmaster made new regulation that no students, even that in Senior 3, shall go to school at weekends or during official holidays. As in a Senior 3 student, I am in favor of this regulation. The winter vacation was approaching, and I’ll make good use of the time to relax. But if I relax I will be able to study more effective then I come back to school.
