Rose wanted a job. She went to many offices and she didn’t like any of them. In modern society, competition is everywhere. No wonder a English philosopher considers competition the source of a series of problem such as frustration and anxiety. Therefore, if we stress cooperation too much, there would be no progress. In my opinion, all are important and necessary.
Let's take the competition at school for example. Even a gifted student won't make a remarkable progress if he is in a class without competition.
