It'll soon be the birthday of one of my closest friends, Susie. I still cannot decide what to give her. Trees are useful to man in three very important ways: they provide him with wood and other products；they give him shade；and they help to prevent drought and floods.

When I was six, Dad brought home a dog one day, who was called “Brownie”. My brothers and I all loved Brownie and did different things with her.
