There are lots of experience in our life. The most unforgettable one for me is the speech competition holding last year. I’m interested in English. When my English teacher told me that I had chosen to take part in the speech competition, I devoted me to the preparation. I was determined to win the first prize. I was such nervous when I stood on the stage that I forgot everything. Not until I caught a sight of my teacher did I calm down. Finally，I do a good job. When I heard I got the first prize，my heart was filled in joy and tears rolled down. Through this speech competition，I understand that it is confidence which makes people successfully.

I come back from Britain last week. I was luckily enough to be one of the student from different countries to visit the UK from Feb. 16 to 28. We paid a visit to many places, like London, Oxford or the Lake District. I learned much about British culture and history in the London, where was my favorite. I also liked Oxford, in which I saw much more old buildings. The Lake District was beautiful, but it was pity that it rained heavily when they were there. The most excited thing for me in Britain was that I made a lot of friends there.

Last Saturday, we organize a trip to the countryside. The countryside has taken on new look everywhere. All around us, the hills are covering with green trees and colorful flower. Nowadays the farmers there is caring more about our life quality. With their life greatly improved, they have more time for a leisure.
