I have finished reading three books recently, they are very interesting and I’ve learned a lot from them.
The first book is about the Grand Canyon. It’s not just big. It’s ______(巨大的). It’s about 2 kilometres deep, 20 kilometres wide and over 400 kilometres long, It’s one of the wonders of the ______（自然的）world.
The second book is The Adventures of Tom Sawyer , it was ______（写）by Mark Twain. Mark Twain is a famous American writer，but he isn’t known as a great ______ (思想家) like Confucius. He wrote this story in 1876. The______（主题）of the story are to do with children ______（成长） up and becoming serious. And now this book is still read and loved by people all over the world today. And it’s thought to be one of the ______ (伟大的) books in American literature.
The third book is about the 28th Olympic Games. As we know, China got 51 gold ____(奖牌)，these winners are not an overnight success, they have ______(训练) hard for many years. We are ____(骄傲) of them. We must learn from them.
