Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. I’ll give you a quick introduction to the school before I you around. Our school is called a “free school”. This means that pupils are free to choose what and how they want to learn.
The school opens at 9 am, the children can arrive a little late if they like. Most of them are in school by ten. eight and nine most are in the living room and the kitchen downstairs. This is also a time children and teachers can work out what they are to do for the day.
Now if you look the door of that big room, you will see those children busy doing something there. Several children are in the kitchen Miss Cabell with lunch. The children take to do this. After lunch it’s someone else’s job to do the washing-up. This job isn’t and not many of them like to do it.
After lunch the children go on with what they’ve been doing school is over. On Friday we sometimes take the children to a cinema or a museum. The school is also every weekend for those children who want to come.

Will you put others’ needs before your own? will you get if you do? Here is an experience of mine.
It was a wet day and I had a time. I was busy and everyone I talked to was in a bad mood. What’s more, I went to work without breakfast and I left my at home. So I couldn’t get lunch and was terribly hungry.
When I work，I called to ask my wife to meet me at the door with some money so that I could quickly go to buy . Then I quickly made my way home in hope of eating my meal of the day at 5:00 p.m.
As I was halfway home, my wife told me by phone that a friend of ours was in and needed a lift（搭便车）home. My mind said，“I will help him I get the meal.” But my mouth said，“All right, I’ll give him a .”
He jumped in the car with a smile on his face and repeated how he was that I would drive him home. He told me he usually walked home from his company but that day the stopped him from making that journey because he didn’t have an umbrella.
There a lot of traffic. A drive to him normally took 10 minutes but that day it took 30 minutes.
Now you would guess the person that I was helping is a friend of mine. But，in fact，he is a friend of a friend.
I wonder if I will see this person again but I feel glad that I was there when he me.

In learning English, one should first pay attention to and speaking．
It is the groundwork（基础） of reading and writing．You' d better your best to speak while you do much listening．Don' t be of making mistakes．But be careful not to let them stop you from improving your English.
While you are doing this, a good is to write or keep a diary, write notes or letters．Then if you can, ask some others to go through you have written and tell you where it is wrong．Many mistakes in your speaking will be found when you write. Through correcting mistakes, you can do better in learning English．
If you are slow in speaking, don′t about it．One of the helpful ways is reading, either aloud or to yourself．The important thing is to choose interesting to read．It mustn't be too difficult for you．When you are reading in this way, don' t stop to the new words if you can guess their meanings when they have nothing to do the sentences．You can do that some other time．

A Fun Way to Start the Day
