I’m Cathy Brown. I am now working for the Sunshine Travel Service in Changsha. I have just come back from Taiwan, the biggest island of China. It is in the Pacific Ocean(太平洋) to the east of Fujian.
Last week, I took a group of French holiday-makers for a week’s trip to Taiwan. We traveled all around the island. There are a lot of places of interest. My favorite is Sun Moon Lake. We have always been interested in the moon. 2, 000 years ago, people already knew it moves around the earth and where it would be in the sky at different times of the year. At that time, everything about the moon was learned by watching it carefully in the sky.
