Though great progress has made in science these years, there
are still many people lived in poor conditions. They make their living
by collecting and selling used thing. Their children cannot go to school
because they have no enough money to send their children to there.
Why you think so many people still suffer from poverty now?
The answer lies on the population explosion. A president of a developing
country once said: “It is us who are to blame for the poverty because we used to
produce child without limit.” Although these few words sound simple enough,
but they have clear pointed out one of the causes of the population explosion.

Patience is of great importance in our daily life. Once I waited a bus to come at a stop. 30 minutes past, but no bus came. Both upset and annoyed, I decided to walk on feet. But no sooner had I left when the bus arrived. I thought if I had waited for one more minute, I would have caught it. If I chose to take a next bus, I would have to wait for other 30 minutes. Dear editor,
In the past my hometown was used to be a beautiful place. Thick trees and green grass could be seen in everywhere. In order to build house and grow more crops, people cut down more and more trees. With time went on, the whole forest was almost destroyed. Gradually the green hills have changed into wasteland. As a result, sandstorms struck us now and then, which we suffer a lot. But I do hope all the people should realize the terribly result of not caring about our environment. What's more, they should take good care of the forests and plant trees instead cutting them down to improve our living conditions.

What would we do without refrigerators? We take it for granted now, but what is it like before the refrigerator was invented? Have you never left milk out of the fridge for a day in summer? In just that time it will go badly, so you can imagine what hard life was before. For a long time, people have been using ice to make food lasting longer.
The first refrigerators were sold in late 1880s and they soon became very popular. Nowadays, almost everyone has a fridge in their homes and modern refrigerators are much more safer. Some of them are such modern that they can tell you what needs buying in advance!
