This morning I went to ask for my English teacher to give me some advice on why to learn English well on the weekend. When I arrived his office at 8 o’clock, he had already done her work for almost one hour. First, we should make a plan of study and carry them out until we succeed. Then, we must master any basic knowledge of English such as 26 letters and 48 sounds. Vocabulary is bricks and grammar is bones. In March 1984, Dr John Fellows, who lived in England, and decided to visit his married daughter in the USA． He bought a return air ticket to New York and flew Kennedy Airport． When he reached, however, he realized that he had forgotten his daughter’s address． Even badly , he discovered he can’t remember her family name too! Dr Fellows spent several hours at the airport tried to think what his daughter’s name was and where it was which she lived, but with much luck． Eventually, he decided that he would have to give up his plan to visit her and he caught a next plane back to England．

My wife and I go to the theatre whenever we have time. But before we buy
ticket, we would like to know whether the play is good and bad. When a
new play open, we usually read the reviews on our local newspapers to
get information to it. Last week a new comedy opened at the theatre. The
newspaper story said it was very amused, so we decided to go on the Saturday
night. It took my wife a long time to make her mind what to wear and we left
a little later. By the time we got there, the first act already begun. We were
sorry we missed part of the play, because the rest of it was very funny.
