Last weekend I went to the Summer Palace as usually． At about noon, I was enjoying my reading near a lake while suddenly I hear someone crying for help． I went up to see what was happening． I was shocking to find a little child struggling in the water in the distance while many peoples were standing by without doing anything． Without any hesitation, I had pushed through the crowd as I took off my coat, but jumped into the water quickly． I managed to reach him and carried him back to safety． To his great relief, the kid was saved．
I was proud what I had done． I hope everyone can give hand when someone else is in need．

I learned early in life that I had to be more patient and little aggressive. From the time I was about four until I was about six, I destroyed each of my toy. Hiking has become popular in China during recent years, and more and more people become hikers, who are calling Donkey Friends (驴友) in Chinese. A discussion about hiking has held in our class. I sometimes just wanted to sit in the dark. I hate to admit this, or sometimes when I’m feeling bad, I’ll lock myself in the bathroom, turn away the lights and just sit on the floor. I don’t know what. Maybe I feel comfortable and relaxed in totally darkness. Sometimes, I just stare into the darkness without think of anything. Maybe I’m sitting there waiting for someone show up. I also think of all kind of things sometimes. I will not only think of the things that they happened in the past, but imagine what will happen in a future. There’s an old man in our village calling Old Joe who said to be 110 years old. This can’t be proved though he doesn’t have a birth certificate. All his personal papers were destroy during the World War II. I don’t know if he really is so old, and it doesn’t matter. He certainly looks very old. Of course, he is often asked question by people who want to be told the secret of long life. Old Joe always answered them like this, “If you are offered a cigarette, never accept it; if you are annoyed by someone, never lose his temper; and if you are asked foolishly questions, never answer them.”
