One night I decided to spend some time building a happier and closer relationship with my daughter. The Making of a Surgeon
How does a doctor recognize the point in time when he is finally a “surgeon”? As my year as chief resident （进修医生） drew to a close, I asked myself this question 36 more than one occasion．

I work as a volunteer（志愿者）for an organization that helps the poor in Haiti. Recently I took my son Barrett there for a week, hoping to 36 him.

It was a cold winter’s night when I stopped for gas on my way home from work. I was tired and had a slight 36 .
