Many years before , I stepped into a bookstore for some        
books I wanted them ．While I was there I saw a young       
boy of about 12 came into the store ．The boy wanted         
to buy a geography book ．Geography books costs           
one dollar each , but he had only 62 cent．I decided          
to follow him to see that he could succeed ．Four             
stores we entered , and four times he disappointed ．        
Luckily , at the fifth store he got an used book for 50         
cents ．Having learned why he wanted the book, and           
the bookseller gave him some written paper and a              
new pencil as a gift ．
