As the high school student, I like to talk with foreigners to practise my oral English but
learn more about other cultures. There were two foreign teachers in our school in this term.
They often go to the English corner so that we can have a chance to practise the language.
I seize every chance talk with them. However, I sometime find they are not so interesting
in what I say, and it’s hard for I to choose a suitable topic. I would like some advices about
how to communicate proper with foreigners, and what topics to pick.

Rose wanted a job. She went to many offices and she didn’t like any of them. One day she saw a board in an office read: “This office needs a typist whom can type 200 words a minute.” Rose was exciting. When Rose went to the manager’s office, the man was writing something. Rose knocked at the door and the manager raised her head. “Do you need a typist?” asked Rose. “Yes!” he said. Rose clapped her hand. She couldn’t help saying, “OK! How much will you pay for me every month?” The manager thought for a while and said, “I will pay you 77 dollars for first three months. Then I will pay you 30 dollars every month.” Rose smiled and answer, “Great! I will come and work here three months late.” The manager was speechless.

Dear Editor,
I was a happy girl with a warmly family. My parents loved each other although my family was poor. But everything changed when my father fell in love by a young girl about two year ago. Since then, quarrels happen at home almost on every day, left me and my sister crying in despair. I hate that woman which stole my father. I even hope to live with her before my parents separate and take revenge (报复) on him. But sometimes I think that is not right and I really didn’t want my parents to divorce. What should I do? My brother Tom was very selfish when he was a little boy. He did not want share things with other people. For example，when he bought a chocolate cake, he put them in a secret place where I couldn’t find. Then he ate it all by himself. He never helped other. He said he is busy.
